Overview

Located on the ground and first floor of the “Elms Field” development in the centre of Wokingham, the Everyman Cinema is now a central feature of a brand new destination comprising of a hotel and to follow later in 2020, restaurants, shops and residential properties.

Customers enter at ground floor level under a festoon canopy and through a modest sized entrance, lined with rich timber panelling and velvet curtains. Winding up the double height staircase to the first floor, the walls feature collaged artwork by Jack “Mr P” Murray, drawing on 90’s film references. The first floor bar and lounge space is flooded with natural light with full height windows wrapping around and offering calm views across the re landscaped Elms Field. The bar space balances warm and rich tones against raw concrete walls to create on overall luxurious feel with an abundance of velvet covered sofas and banquette seating. The semi open kitchen serves the full range of delicious burgers, pizzas and hotdogs from the Speilburger menu.

Up a short staircase from the bar leads to the auditorium level where there are 3 varying sized auditoriums, ranging from a 72 seater and topped by a grand 134 seater, each differing in style but all with luxurious velvet arm chair and sofa seating and tactile fabric lined walls.
